The Planewalkers Campaign combines a traditional fantasy setting, the world of Castellar, a vast declining Empire on the verge of civil war, and the AD&D Planescape setting. Within the story, characters from Castellar will discover the existence, power and features of the planes of existence beyond the Earth—and how they affect the destiny of the Castellar Empire.

The Planewalkers Campaign emphasizes roleplay and creative play in the style of pen and paper D&D. DM involvement is extensive. The game takes place in pre-built, but unscripted modules where style is freeform, all NPC conversations are live, and the game world features active DM involvement.

The plot concerns the fate of a single, but perhaps very special boy, Simon, whose mysterious powers and origins are both dangerous, and perhaps, a source of much needed hope...

You, Simon's friends and allies, desire to protect him. To that end, you must discover both his origins and his enemies in a journey that will take you from Castellar, Sigil and the Planes...
